The Prothonotary Warblers of Brownell Memorial Park have already figured out where the rare Pokémon are hiding!

Gotta catch them all!
When it comes to catching Pokémon, or catching breakfast….there’s a bit of a learning curve….

Hatch year Prothonotary Warbler learning to forage
Brownell Memorial Park has become quite the training ground for young Prothonotary Warblers. Thirty chicks have fledged from the nest boxes we installed within the park this year!
Thousands of visitors are flocking to parks to find the game’s virtual creatures and many parks are using the opportunity to educate these new visitors about the actual wildlife that live there. While you’re out searching for rare Pokémon, don’t miss the real species that have been hiding in plain sight!

Pikachu? Prothonotary Warbler, I choose you!
In the meantime, this charismatic Prothonotary Warbler might teach you a thing or two on how to search for Pokémon like a pro!
